The nozzle is a consumable and will gradually wear out during use. In addition, the wear of the nozzle will be accelerated in the mismatched service environment. This wear will directly reduce the atomization effect of the nozzle, thus affecting the various properties of the spray. When the wear of the nozzle reaches a certain degree, if the nozzle is not replaced in time, it will lead to the decline of product quality and bring irreparable losses to the enterprise. Therefore, it is very necessary to learn to detect the wear of nozzle.

 

The wear detection generally includes the following contents:

Flow rate Measure the flow under stable pressure within a certain period of time and compare it with the measurement data of the new nozzle under the same environment, or check whether the data of the flow meter increases.

Spray angle Under stable pressure, whether the spray angle will change in comparison with different time.

Spray uniformity Whether the central area and the edge area of the spray can be clearly detected Nonuniformity by visual inspection.

Spray pressure Check whether the spray pressure changes with the use time.

Spray fineness  Refer to the smoothness and uniformity of the product surface

In addition 1. Regular replacement of filter screen and filter and avoiding violent cleaning can reduce the wear of nozzle. 

2. The wear of nozzle in high pressure environment is faster than that in low pressure environment.
